Harmony of Heritage: A Cultural Tribute to Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti

BD Blue Bells Public School resonated with festivity and reverence as it marked the twin celebrations of Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti on October 1, 2025. The students of the Music and Dance Club from Classes VI–VIII presented a special assembly that beautifully wove together the cultural vibrancy of Dussehra with the timeless values of Mahatma Gandhi.

The morning began with a soulful prayer, creating an atmosphere of serenity and reflection. What followed was a sequence of captivating performances that celebrated India’s rich heritage and moral legacy. A mellifluous song on Dussehra echoed the eternal message of righteousness prevailing over evil, filling the air with devotion and pride. The stage then came alive with spirited garba performances, brimming with rhythm and colour, drawing cheerful applause from the audience.

Adding to the depth of the occasion, students recited thought-provoking poems that encapsulated the enduring ideals of both festivals—valor, truth, peace, and non-violence. Each performance was not only a showcase of artistic expression but also a reminder of the values that continue to guide generations.
