Smart 2025 -3rd Peer Educator Workshop & Valedictory Ceremony

organized the 3rd & Final Workshop and Valedictory Ceremony of
“MindSmart 2025 – The Life Skills & Wellbeing Leadership Course for
Adolescent Peer Educators” on 29 August 2025 at National Bal
Bhavan, New Delhi. The programme marked the culmination of a year-long
initiative aimed at nurturing life skills, leadership, emotional resilience,
and well-being among adolescents.
Blue Bells Group of
Schools participated in the programme under the mentorship of their visionary
leader, Dr. Alka Saxena, Associate Director (Social & Emotional
Learning), BBGS. Peer educators representing Brahm Dutt Blue Bells
Public School were Aarav Gauthwal (XI C), Avneet Mishra (X B), and
Dilisha Madaan (IX C) and peer educators representing Blue Bells Model
School were Diyaan Agarwal (IX C), Disha Gupta (XI C) and Sambodhi
(IX B).
The sessions emphasised empowering
adolescents for the digital age, preventing high-risk behaviours, and
integrating life skills into effective career decision-making. Peer-led
role plays on coping with emotions, decision-making, peer pressure, and cyberbullying
nurtured self-awareness and collective learning. Interactive activities like
the Human Knot and reflective fun games further reinforced
collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving.
The Investiture
Ceremony honoured peer educators for their contributions as ambassadors of
wellbeing. Distinguished experts Dr. Shuchi Mathur, Senior Consultant,
and Dr. Aparna Joshi, Junior Project Fellow, Manodarpan Cell, NCERT
joined Dr. Jitendra Nagpal, Program Director, Expressions India, in
felicitating the participants.
The workshop concluded
with renewed commitment among students to carry forward the ethos of empathy,
resilience, and responsible leadership within their school communities.
