Morning Assembly By Class
X-D: Honouring Alluri Sitaram Raju, The Legendary Freedom Fighter
The morning assembly on
July 22, 2025, conducted by Class X-D was a heartfelt tribute to Alluri
Sitaram Raju, the legendary freedom fighter who fearlessly led the tribal
revolt against British rule in the Gudem Hills of Andhra Pradesh. Through a
thought-provoking skit and a powerful self-composed poem, students brought to
life the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of this 26-year-old icon, who
became a beacon of resistance and a revered folk hero in India’s freedom
movement.
The second segment of the
assembly celebrated the announcement of the Prefectorial Council for the
academic session 2025–26. The occasion was graced by Ms. Roopali Kudesia,
Officiating Principal, and Ms. Madhu Talwar, Middle Wing
Leader, who congratulated the newly appointed School Prefects and
Vice-Captains. The ceremonial conferring of badges was a proud moment,
signifying the values of trust, responsibility, and dedicated service to the
school community.
The assembly concluded
with the resonant notes of the National Anthem, evoking a deep sense of
patriotism and a renewed pledge to uphold the ideals of leadership, courage,
and commitment.
