Public School came alive with energy and excitement on
November 30, 2024, and hosted the highly anticipated Annual Athletic Meet, SPARDHA
2024, for students of Classes VI to XII. The event, held on the
school grounds, celebrated athleticism, teamwork, and the spirit of
sportsmanship.
The day began with the
arrival of the esteemed Chief Guest, Air Vice Marshal R.K. Khattri,
whose remarkable service to the nation inspired all in attendance. Welcomed
warmly by the school’s management, staff, and students, AVM Khattri was joined
by Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, the revered Director, Blue Bells Group of
Schools. Dr. Gulati declared the event open, following ceremonial torch
lighting and a spectacular march-past by the students.
In his address, AVM
Khatri lauded the school’s commitment to holistic education and encouraged
students to embody values such as discipline, resilience, and teamwork. In his
opening remarks, Dr. Trilok Singh Bist, the Principal emphasized the importance
of sports in fostering camaraderie and character development. He also expressed
heartfelt gratitude to parents for their unconditional support and to the
management for their invaluable guidance in making SPARDHA 2024 a success.
The day unfolded with an
array of athletic events, including sprints, relays, obstacle races, and team
games, showcasing the talent and determination of the participants. Adding to
the day’s vibrancy were special activities for parents, such as an engaging
tug-of-war, and mesmerizing student performances, including a dynamic yoga
display and colourful dance routines that enthralled the audience.
The atmosphere was
electric, with parents enthusiastically cheering from the sidelines, creating
an environment of encouragement and joy. The sports ground resounded with
applause and cheers as students competed with passion, embodying the essence of
friendly rivalry.
The event culminated in a
grand Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the Chief Guest, along with
members of the school management, awarded medals and certificates to the
deserving winners. Amid enthusiastic celebrations, CV Raman House was
crowned the overall champion, marking a triumphant conclusion to the meet.
As the National Anthem
echoed across the grounds, SPARDHA 2024 wrapped up on a high note,
leaving behind cherished memories and reinforcing the school’s relentless
commitment to nurturing well-rounded and confident individuals.
