Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram, hosted an insightful workshop on System Hygiene & Data Backup on June 23, 2025. The workshop was curated by the IT Department, BBGS, under the inspirational mentorship of Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director (IT), BBGS.
The workshop was led by Ms. Kavita Singhal, Director, Kamptron Systems Pvt. Ltd. The interactive and invigorating session was attended by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, Ms. Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director (IT), BBGS, leadership team, and faculty of BDBBPS, Sector 10, Gurugram.
The workshop aimed to promote digital hygiene, enhance secure data practices, and ensure an optimized tech environment. The key takeaways included-Importance of regular updates, antivirus use, and safe internet habits, Data backup essentials: cloud storage, encryption, Physical care of devices, and responsible digital behaviour, Weekly cleanup, secure password creation, MFA, and phishing awareness
Real-world threats were contextualized, and practical strategies for backup and device maintenance were shared. The session concluded with strong engagement from faculty and reinforced the school’s commitment to cybersecurity and tech-savviness. It was highly lauded for its practical relevance and marked another proactive step in BBGS’s mission to nurture a digitally responsible academic ecosystem.
