Rooted in Love, Growing
for Tomorrow: BDBBPS Celebrates Van Mahotsav with Purpose and Pride
On the vibrant morning of
July 8, 2025, our energetic NCC Cadets and Student Council Members, and Middle
Wing students marched out of the school gates and into Sector 10 Park,
Gurugram, to celebrate nature in all its glory. What followed was more than a
Van Mahotsav Rally and Tree Plantation Drive, it was a movement, a mission, and
a message to humanity: We are the stewards of tomorrow.
This initiative was
undertaken under the aegis of Project Chhaya and the national campaign 'Ek Ped
Maa Ke Naam', a visionary appeal by our Honourable Prime Minister. It blended
two great concepts, our responsibility towards the world and our endless
gratitude towards our mothers. Every sapling planted was not only a sign of
eco-action; it was a living offering to endless love and uncompromising care.
With flags aloft and
hearts full of purpose, our students marched through the park, shouting
vigorously at the tops of their lungs: "The trees are essential for the
nourishment of life." Their bright blue uniform displayed not only
discipline and solidarity but also a strong, unyielding commitment to planetary
health. In each step they took, in each sapling they planted, and in each shout
that echoed out, they reaffirmed their position as awakened citizens and agents
of change.
At Brahm Dutt Blue Bells
Public School, we believe strongly that education is more than books and
classrooms, it is about developing leaders who lead with compassion,
accountability, and courage. This project is yet another example of our full
commitment to sustainability, community living, and values-based leadership.
And so, hand in hand,
foot by foot, hope in our hearts and feet on the ground, we promise to care for
that which cares for us. The trees that we have planted today are not only for
oxygen and shade, but for hope, healing, and the tomorrow that we envision.
